Back in 2004, while still in high school, Jeff began working in the tree industry. He was a contract climber for several companies around the DFW are while in high school & college. After graduating from UTA in December 2009, Jeff officially started what is now LaTour Tree Service. The company has grown from him being the only employee doing everything from sales to production, to follow-up and accounting. In 2007, he bought his first machine, a 3 wheeled stump grinder. Over the years, the company has grown tremendously, and several other stump grinders, chipper, grapple trucks have come and gone; but the old 3 wheeled stump grinder is still being used regularly!
Jeff & Jaimee married in 2010 & they enjoy traveling whenever possible & regularly enjoy eating out in all kinds of restaurants all over the DFW area. Jeff currently sits on several boards of non-profit organizations but is most passionate about his work in his church & his position within Fellowship of Christian Athletes.
After joining the United States Marines a month before 9/11 and serving four years, including two tours in Iraq, Gordon returned to the metroplex where he acquired his bachelor's degree from UTA. It was during this time that he started a landscaping business with his father that quickly evolved into a commercial tractor mowing business. After graduating from UTA in 2009, he joined Mattress Firm and quickly moved up within the company. Gordon and Jeff met while attending UTA and in 2014 Gordon joined LaTour Tree Service as a co-owner. He received his TDA Commercial Pesticide Applicator License in 2017, obtained his Certified Arborist Certification in 2018, and became Oak Wilt Certified in 2019.
Gordon married Ewelina in 2012, and they have two children, Gordon III & Rose. When he's not working, Gordon is an avid outdoorsman & can often be found hunting in an open field any chance he can get, a joy that he credits to his Lord & Savior, Jesus Christ.
After being self-employed as a professional clothier for nearly 20 years, Kip decided to get back to his roots in 2018 by joining LaTour Tree Service. He obtained his Certified Arborist Certification in 2019 & his Tree Risk Assessment Qualification in 2020. Prior to that, beginning in middle school & continuing throughout his time in college, Kip worked several landscaping jobs, including one year in sales at TruGreen. He is loving his midlife career change & couldn't have dreamed of joining a better company than LaTour Tree Service.
